CONTEMPORARY FAMILY GARDEN
We designed and built this suburban garden in Kent. Our clients had recently extended and renovated their family home.
The brief was to design a family friendly, contemporary garden, using classic contemporary materials and a simple, yet stylish layout. Two spaces were created for relaxation and entertaining.
We used Brett Eden Limestone porcelain paving in Fawn, to create subtle and soft textures, with a low maintenance and hard-wearing finish. The clay pavers add areas of interest and detail.
The design also incorporates a large area of lawn for the children to play, three raised sleeper vegetable beds, a path leading to a future garden building, a contemporary Corten steel bird bath and a beautiful terracotta beehive water feature.
Either side of the garden Venetian fencing lined with evergreen pleached trees create beautiful borders and privacy.
The main patio is a much larger space for dining and entertaining and the second smaller patio creates a more secluded area with seating and a fire pit.
